Press Release July 24th, 2014 UMPD to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint College Park, MD – The University of Maryland Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this Friday, July 25th, 2014, from 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. in support of the 2014 crackdown to combat drunk driving in Maryland.

Earlier today the State Highway Administration (SHA), alongside with University of Maryland officials, Prince George's County officials, and the City of College Park officials held a press conference at the University of Maryland to announce future pedestrian safety enhancements to the College Park area.
