It is with a very heavy heart that we share that retired K-9 Pink crossed over the rainbow bridge on January 23, 2025.
Pink passed peacefully after a long and healthy life into old age. K-9 Pink served the University of Maryland community from 2012-2021, and once retired, spent her days with her handler, Cpl. John Fitzgerald, and his family.
