The University of Maryland Police Department is collecting new school supplies now through Monday, August 10, 2026.
Items that are needed include:
Backpacks • Composition Books • Index cards • Crayons • Erasers • Dry erase markers • Headphones • Pocket folders w/ 3-hole punch • Glue sticks • Highlighters • Colored markers & pencils • Pencils • Rulers • Blunt scissors • Pencil boxes • Paper towels • Gallon & sandwich zip lock bags • Tissues • Liquid hand soap
We are also collecting new school uniforms:
White polo shirts
Navy blue pants or slacks
All sizes are greatly appreciated, but there is a particular need for uniforms that fit the youngest students, ages 4 to 7.
