    University of Maryland Police Department Conducts Sobriety Checkpoint

  • Child Car Seat Check

    On Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the University of Maryland Police Department will host a Child Car Seat Check at the Pocomoke Building (7569 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, Maryland 20742). This is a free service and is available to anyone. A certified child safety seat technician will assist you with installing and provide guidance on the proper use of your child safety seat.

  • DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

    On Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the University of Maryland Police Department (UMPD) in partnership the Drug Enforcement Administration will host the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at the Pocomoke Building (7569 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, Maryland 20742).
