Enhancement to Gameday Operations
The University of Maryland Police Department (UMPD) continues to look at ways to enhance safety and security on campus and at campus events. In partnership with our allied agencies, there will be an authorized drone in use around SECU Stadium for the 2025 football season. Fans attending home football games may notice a drone and/or drone detection unit, beginning Saturday, August 30, 2025.
