**Community Notice** The purpose of this e-mail is to make you aware of an incident that occurred off-campus near the University of Maryland, College Park campus. The following is a synopsis of an incident reported to the Prince George's County Police Department.
Officers Graduate from DUI Institute
Congratulations to MPO Edwards (pictured on the left) and Cpl. Fogleman (pictured on the right) on graduating from the University of Maryland Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Institute. Pictured with Sgt. Rocca, who was an instructor/liaison. The DUI Institute was held from June 4 to June 9, 2023.

The University of Maryland Police Department Teams with Drug Enforcement Administration for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
College Park, MD – On Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the University of Maryland Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will host DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at locations across the country. DEA and its partners will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs.
